“Join Richard Midson, a 25 year communications veteran,
as he travels the PR world looking for the big ideas that
you could use to promote your organisations or brand”
3 steps to follow the show
Richard Midson says it was frustrating being a journalist.
He says he always found himself interviewing the same people over and over again.
It wasn’t because they had better stories, it was because they knew how to tell them better.
This frustration led Richard to find himself constantly give free advice. He even ran an impromptu PR workshop at the side of a night club one night after getting into conversation with some start-ups.
PR is changing fast too. It is no longer enough to “just” send a press release.
PR and communications officers are already experts at human connection and today it’s their job to develop “one to many” relationships between their organisations and the public, whatever the communication channels.
If you are in PR or comms (or you need to build relationships for your own business) then this show is for you.
Join Richard as he travels the PR world in search of the best ideas.
He’ll also be sharing his 25 years of experience as a journalist, news editor, presenter of London’s (UK) only all-news radio weekday drivetime show, creator of a fair sized YouTube show, researcher of top podcasters and as a PR officer for the leader of the third largest political group in the European Parliament.
