I’ve been in communications (a national news editor, broadcaster, public relations officer and in technology) for 25 years and we all know things have changed.

It is no longer enough to send out a press release. We now have to build real human connections between our organizations and the public. Yet, time is tight and budgets are even smaller.

What’s in it?

Each week we search the globe for ideas that we can reverse engineer to achieve the same impact but with less time and effort.

It’s a bit like life-hacking but for comms people and, it’s all free!

Topics covered

We’ve covered getting large speaking gigs, “experience” marketing theory, case studies of how companies grew global brands and more, but all of this is done in a “scrappy” (minimal resources) way.

Who follows the project?

More than 2000 people downloaded the last episode of season 2.

They vary from PR agencies to small and medium sized businesses to sole traders. All are looking for ways to generate giant killing PR and comms with less resources.

Who is the Public Relations Podcast for?
